Heading to the Hamptons?

Escaping to the Hamptons for the weekend is—for all intents and purposes—a general, sun-soaked right of passage in New York.  Every Friday, New Yorkers lineup in droves to flee from the ever-present buzz of the city and Long Island’s eastern quadrants in search of the refined atmosphere of the easterly haven.  The Hamptons is overflowing with pristine beaches, majestic mansions, high-end eateries and famous night clubs, making the region an ideal destination for weekenders of a vast array of ages and interests.

Perhaps the worst thing about spending a weekend in the Hamptons, however, is getting to and from the Hamptons.
